November 12,2013 ~ Special History Talk and Tour for members and friends of The History Center of San Luis Obispo County

Thanks to the many volunteer docents, donors, teachers, partners and the Oak Ambassadors who made this a wonderful outing on the oak trail and to Kaila Dettman, Executive Director of The Land Conservancy of SLO County, for sharing her photography talents. We’re also especially grateful to late wildlife docent Glenn Sparks’s wife Charron for sharing Glenn’s collection of wildlife skins for continued use in LATO educational programs. To view all the images from the day at our gallery, click on the image below of Oak Ambassadors Chris and Yaara are shown holding a beaver skin from the collection.
