March 17,2017 was the day for wearing green and doing green work on the LATO trail. Thanks to a great California Conservation Corps crew, led by Sophia and Pedro with guidance from Bev and Nathan, the LATO trail is ready for spring nature hikes. Santa Margarita School K-3rd grade classes should soon be out there enjoying educational adventures in the oak woodlands. Thanks to the ongoing cooperation of Santa Margarita Ranch owners for making this program possible.
